The Black Dahlia Murder's lead singer and founding member, Trevor Strnad, has died.
Earlier today, his bandmates announced the news on Instagram (May 11). "We regret to inform you of the death of Trevor Scott Strnad.
"He was a beloved son, brother, and shepherd of good times," the group wrote in a statement. "He was liked by everybody who encountered him."
Strnad was described as "a walking encyclopaedia of all things music" by the group.
He was a writer as well as a hugger, and he was widely regarded as one of the greatest comedians of all time.
His songs were full of tales, spells, terror, and whimsy for the world to enjoy.
It was his life's work to entertain you." They included the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline phone number at the end of their message. Trevor Strnad was 41 when he was killed.
